- Review Management: Editors must ensure that the peer-review process is fair, unbiased, and conducted in a timely manner.
- Objective Decisions: Manuscripts must be evaluated based on academic merit, originality, quality, and relevance to the journal's scope, without discrimination based on authors' backgrounds or institutional affiliations.
- Confidentiality and Conflicts of Interest: Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and disclose or avoid any conflicts of interest that could compromise editorial impartiality.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Reviewer Integrity: Reviewers must provide fair, objective, constructive, and professional evaluations while maintaining the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
- Recusal and Disclosure: Reviewers must promptly disclose any potential conflicts of interest and decline review invitations where their objectivity or impartiality could be compromised.
